Java Full Stack Developer with React, AI-Enabled

We are seeking an experienced Java Fullstack Developer to join our development team. The role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern, scalable enterprise applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React with Micro Frontend architecture. The position emphasises the effective use of AI-assisted developer tools to improve development speed, code quality, and automated testing. Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is an advantage. Location : Singapore (onsite) Experience : 7+ years Type : Contract - 1 year (potential to extend) Qualifications requirements • · Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. • · Experience with React and Micro Frontend architecture. • · Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools / IDEs. • · Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and automated testing. • · Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Git, CI/CD, and agile methodologies. • Experience • · 8-12 years of software development experience (Senior level preferred). • · 5 – 8 years of software development experience (Junior level preferred). • · Banking or financial services experience is an advantage. • Roles & Responsibilities • · Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. • · Build scalable and modular frontend solutions using React and Micro Frontend architecture. • · Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate frontend and backend components. • · Ensure code quality through clean coding practices, documentation, and standards compliance. • AI-Assisted Development • · Use AI-assisted developer tools / IDEs (e.g. Copilot, Cursor, AI playbooks) to accelerate coding, refactoring, and solution design. • · Apply AI tools to improve developer productivity and reduce development effort. • · Leverage AI capabilities for test case generation, defect detection, and code optimisation. • · Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests. • · Use AI tools to enhance test coverage and testing efficiency. • · Identify, analyse, and resolve defects and performance issues • · Apply knowledge of banking or financial services systems, including security and compliance considerations. • · Ensure solutions meet enterprise governance and regulatory requirements where applicable. • WHAT’S ON OFFER: You will be remunerated with an excellent base salary and entitled to attractive company benefits.
