Java Tech Lead

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION ·     Lead the implementation of Java based application. • Passionate about technologies, building robust and scalable interfaces and local developments • Hands on experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of complex and custom-built solution • Work collaboratively with team to achieve goals. Experience working in a Safe Agile environment ·     Stake holder management – working closely with program stakeholders, business change engineers, and project managers to drive and manage IT delivery. ·     Drive and review technical and architectural design, enforce architectural guidelines and challenge status quo ·    Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely and delivered on time and to the required quality standards ·    Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards onhonesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THEPOSITION Professional • Minimum 15 years of development experience in Front-end applications, programming languages and back-end queries. • Well organized and ability to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks. Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges. • Able to translate functional requirements to efficient and fit-for-purpose technical solutions • Preferably, have experience in finance/ banking / Wealth management domain • Domain knowledge on Corporate Actions domain is a plus • Communicate highly technical issues to non-technical audience • Understand business /system requirements and translate them into technical solutions that are scalable, stable, and fit for purpose. • Ensure adherence to the bank standards (including code, security and performance) • Work collaboratively with team to achieve goals. Experience working in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, and/or Extreme programming Technical ·       Strong knowledge on Java, JBOSSand Spring boot, Hibernate frameworks. ·       Strong knowledge on Service oriented architecture, RESTful services ·      Good knowledge of SQL (MySQL, Oracle, Postgres etc.) ·       Working knowledge of Kubernetes(PKS) and containerization, streaming using Kafka, Avro schema ·       Strong computer science knowledge (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design) ·       Working knowledge of GITLAB repositories, Maven,Octopus, CI / CD pipeline ·       Basic Linux shell scripting commands ·       Familiarity with Intellij, SonarQube/SonarLint Important Note: > Please share your resume in word format with dilip@helius-tech.com > Important Note: If this requirement is not a match for you please refer to your friends. > Interested professionals can reach out to me for Confidential Discussion @ +65- 9060-4050.
