Junior Legal Counsel (In-house)

~ 5 days work week, Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm ~ Location: Suntec ~ To support in-house legal counsel ~ No experience is welcome to apply, training is provided ~ 6 months contract and convertible to permanent Our client is a solar energy solution provider in Singapore Objectives: This is an excellent opportunity for candidate with/without experience to kick-start their careers in a supportive and dynamic environment. You will work closely with our in-house Legal Counsels, providing essential legal support to various business units. Responsibilities: Legal Support • Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on various matters, including but not limited to contracts, corporate organization and structuring, compliance, banking and finance, construction, employment, and dispute resolution, highlighting associated risks and pertinent commercial considerations • Draft, review and negotiate contracts and term sheets within the construction/energy industry • Conduct legal research on various matters as may be necessary to support business and operations • Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies and regulatory requirements • Assist with the drafting of corporate secretarial documents, policies, guidelines, legal templates and other legal documents to promote best practices Administrative Support • Filing and organization of documents • Following-through with signed contracts to ensure both internal and external compliance • Updating, standardizing and maintaining of legal document templates Requirements: • LLB from a reputable university in a commonwealth jurisdiction or equivalent • 0 to 2 years PQE • Relevant in-house experience in construction, utilities, power, infrastructure and/or experience in a law firm specializing in construction or dispute resolution advantageous but not mandatory Why Join Us? • Learning Opportunities: Gain hands-on experience in contract management, compliance, and legal support under the guidance of experienced legal professionals • Supportive Environment: Work in a collaborative and nurturing team that values growth and development • Career Development: Build a strong foundation as an in-house lawyer and advance your legal career HOW TO APPLY: Interested applicants, please click on “Apply Now” or email to submit your resume.
