About this role
An established pharmaceutical manufacturing MNC is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Engineer to support engineering and operational projects within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This role offers valuable exposure to pharmaceutical plant operations, equipment improvements, and cross-functional project coordination while working alongside experienced engineering and production teams. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate and support engineering projects related to manufacturing operations, equipment upgrades, plant improvements, and process optimisation initiatives • Manage and follow up on project timelines, documentation, risk assessments, and change control activities to ensure smooth project execution • Liaise closely with Production, QA, Validation, Maintenance, and external vendors to ensure project deliverables are completed efficiently and in compliance with GMP standards • Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation including change controls, SOPs, technical reports, protocols, and project records • Participate in equipment modification, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities within the manufacturing facility • Support change control implementation and track progress to ensure proper closure and compliance with internal procedures • Assist in identifying operational gaps and recommend practical engineering improvements to enhance productivity, safety, and reliability • Ensure all engineering activities comply with site safety policies, regulatory requirements, and pharmaceutical manufacturing standards • Provide project updates and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to manufacturing operations Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering • Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing or other GMP-regulated environments • Prior exposure to change control processes is required • Familiarity with systems such as Kneat, TrackWise, or similar quality management platforms will be an advantage • Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills • Meticulous, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with cross-functional stakeholders • Candidates who are able to commence work within a short notice period will be highly preferred Additional Information: • Office hours: Monday to Friday • Opportunity to gain valuable experience within a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing environment Interested applicants, please send your updated resume to leonleong@recruitexpress.com.sg Leon Leong De Cong R1551708 Recruit Express Pte Ltd EA License No. 99C4599
