About this role
Responsibilities • Lead requirement analysis sessions with external and internal clients and vendors to ensure feasibility and alignment with project goals • Facilitate design thinking workshops and translate user requirements into detailed use cases and technical solutions • Communicate functional requirements and use cases clearly to technical and development teams to ensure system compliance with specifications • Collaborate with customers to explain architectural decisions and resolve technical challenges • Prepare and obtain sign-off on comprehensive documentation including requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, data management frameworks, interfacing, infrastructure requirements, and data migration approaches • Develop and deliver system training programs to customers to ensure effective adoption • Design and execute test plans and cases, trace results to requirements, and measure outcomes against customer expectations • Perform functional and backend testing, analyze test results and logs, resolve issues, and maintain application quality • Conduct test briefings for stakeholders and provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Troubleshoot system issues reported by project teams and customers, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up • Analyze system backend logs and perform data mapping and categorization to support testing and issue resolution • Manage issues, problems, and change management processes to maintain project integrity and delivery timelines • Utilize Jira and SQL tools to track progress, manage defects, and support testing activities • Demonstrate strong customer-service orientation through effective communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Maintain commitment to project completion while working under stringent timelines Required competencies and certifications • Degree in Computer Science and Engineering • Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst and tester Preferred competencies and qualifications • Experience working in the banking domain • Familiarity with Java environment
