Junior Video Analysis Engineer - Trainee

Company Overview Digital Roundabout Pte Ltd in Singapore designs and operates large-scale managed content and video delivery platforms, including Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) distribution and remotely managed edge systems serving thousands of sites worldwide. Job Summary This full-time Graduate Industry Traineeship under the GRIT programme offers fresh graduates structured, hands-on experience in broadcast and distributed systems, with mentorship and exposure to real production environments over 6 months. Responsibilities • Assist in deploying and managing edge delivery nodes used in broadcast distribution to ensure reliable content delivery • Support monitoring and perform basic troubleshooting of SRT streams and network issues to maintain system performance • Analyse logs, metrics, and system health indicators to identify and resolve operational issues • Perform basic Linux administration tasks on edge and server systems to support system stability • Document operational procedures and observations to maintain accurate and useful records • Support engineers during testing, rollout, and incident resolution activities to facilitate smooth system operations Required competencies and certifications • Eligibility as Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident as per GRIT programme requirements • Fresh graduate status from a University (graduated in 2025 or graduating in 2026) with no or minimal full-time work experience Preferred competencies and qualifications • Degree or diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics/Communications Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline • Basic familiarity with Linux or command-line environments to navigate and operate systems • Understanding of networking fundamentals including IP, TCP, and UDP concepts to support network troubleshooting • Interest in systems, infrastructure, or video analysis technology to engage effectively in the traineeship • Willingness to learn in a practical, hands-on environment to develop relevant skills Other Information • Location: Singapore • Duration: 3 to 6 months (full-time) • Allowance: In line with GRIT guidelines • Training Method: On-the-job training, mentorship by senior engineers, exposure to real operational systems • Post-Traineeship Opportunity: High-performing trainees may be offered full-time employment based on performance and business needs
