Assistant Baker Key Job Responsibilities and Duties Production & Preparation: Measuring and mixing ingredients, kneading dough, and preparing batters according to recipes. Baking Operations: Operating, monitoring, and cleaning commercial ovens, mixers, and other kitchen equipment. Finishing & Decoration: Applying icings, glazes, toppings, and fillings, as well as decorating cakes and pastries. Operational Support: Opening/closing the bakery, displaying products, and helping to develop new recipes. Kitchen Operations & Food Preparation: Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks and support simple cooking and plating activities in a structured cafe environment following standard recipes. Food Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Understanding of food safety practices, cleanliness standards, and proper handling of ingredients, utensils, equipment, and cleaning materials in daily operations. Standard Operating Procedures Adherence: Ability to follow established recipes, preparation steps, and operational guidelines accurately within a franchise system to ensure consistency and quality.
