Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Learning Intervention Teacher who can integrate seamlessly into our multidisciplinary team and make an immediate instructional impact. Reporting to the Team Leader for Education, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching children with learning difficulties, addressing both behavioural and academic needs, and delivering high-quality education aligned with the organisation’s philosophy, standards, and guidelines. Key Responsibilities 1. Programme Delivery & Implementation • Deliver educational programmes in accordance with the organisation’s philosophy, curriculum framework, and established guidelines. • 2. Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring • Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate student progress and ensure alignment with agreed learning objectives. • Use assessment data to inform instructional planning and intervention strategies. • 3. Professional Practice & Standards • Execute all teaching and related duties professionally and in compliance with organisational policies and ethical standards. • 4. Feedback, Communication & Collaboration • Provide timely and constructive feedback to the Director for Education and parents regarding student progress, challenges, and learning outcomes. • Collaborate with management and colleagues to improve instructional practices and operational processes. • 5. Teaching Materials & Lesson Documentation • Develop and customise teaching materials tailored to each student’s individual goals and learning needs. • Document lesson plans, teaching strategies, and student outcomes after each session. • 6. Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) • Design, implement, and review Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) for each student. • Ensure IEP goals are measurable, achievable, and reviewed regularly. • 7. Documentation & Records Management • Maintain accurate, organised, and up-to-date documentation of all student-related records, assessments, and reports. • 8. Research & Professional Development • Contribute to research initiatives and continuous improvement of teaching methodologies and intervention strategies. • Stay informed of evidence-based practices in special education. Technical Skills & Core Competencies 1. Diversity and Inclusion • Apply principles of diversity and inclusion in interactions and implementation of activities for children 2. Learning Environment Design • Design quality learning environment according to the child's developmental milestones to engage children purposefully. 3. Intervention Principles and Practices Demonstrate key principles of intervention practices and approaches independently. 4. Child Screening and Assessment • Conduct screening and assessment of children's strengths and needs according to their developmental milestones, and formulate intervention plan based on data gathered from the process. Qualifications & Experience• Minimum Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Special Education or a related field. • Traineeship Pathway: • Candidates without prior experience, including fresh graduates and A-level students, may apply for a 6-month competency-based traineeship programme, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role upon successful completion.
