About the ProjectNew Hope Community Services is undertaking Singapore's first Housing Sustainability Research Study under the Integrated Housing Reintegration Programme (IHRP). The Research Assistant will support participant recruitment, data collection, programme monitoring, database management and research administration. Duration• 10-Month Contract (July 2026 – April 2027) • Extendable subject to project needs and funding. Reporting To• Head, Social Housing / Principal Investigator Key ResponsibilitiesResearch Coordination • Support implementation of the IHRP Housing Sustainability Study across SRSF and JSS-OR sites. • Coordinate participant recruitment, onboarding and assessment scheduling. • Maintain participant tracking logs and follow-up schedules. • Support participant incentive disbursement and documentation. Data Collection & Assessment Administration • Administer Housing Sustainability Risk Assessments and Quality of Life surveys. • Conduct baseline and follow-up assessments according to study protocol. • Ensure completeness and accuracy of assessment forms. • Liaise with staff to coordinate assessment appointments. Database & Data Management • Maintain research databases and participant records. • Perform data entry, verification and cleaning. • Conduct routine quality assurance checks. • Ensure compliance with confidentiality and governance requirements. Programme Monitoring & Research Support • Track programme enrolment and participation. • Monitor intervention attendance and completion rates. • Support literature reviews, descriptive statistics and data summaries. • Assist with interim reports, presentations, and publications. Administrative Support • Coordinate meetings and stakeholder engagements. • Maintain study documentation and filing systems. • Support project logistics and procurement. • Perform other project-related duties assigned. Requirements• Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, Statistics or related disciplines. • Experience in research, programme evaluation or data management preferred. • Strong organisational, communication and analytical skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SPSS/R/NVivo familiarity advantageous. Expected Deliverables• Recruit approximately 70 study participants. • Administer baseline and follow-up assessments. • Maintain accurate research database and participant tracking system. • Support incentive administration and follow-up. • Produce cleaned datasets and support statistical analysis. • Support interim and final evaluation reports.
