About this role
We are seeking an experienced M&P Supervisor to support a major Plant Turnaround / Shutdown project. The successful candidate will supervise mechanical and piping activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements. Key Responsibilities• Supervise mechanical and piping technicians, craftsmen, and subcontractors. • Coordinate daily turnaround activities and manpower deployment. • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved procedures, drawings, and safety requirements. • Oversee equipment maintenance, piping installation, replacement, repairs, bolt tightening, flange management, and testing activities. • Coordinate isolations, permit-to-work requirements, and work execution schedules. • Monitor work progress, productivity, and quality. • Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety inspections. • Liaise with operations, maintenance, inspection, and client representatives. Requirements• Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. • Minimum 5 years of experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, power, or industrial plants. • Must have completed at least 2–3 Plant Turnaround / Shutdown projects in a supervisory role. • Experience supervising mechanical maintenance, static equipment, rotating equipment, piping systems, valves, heat exchangers, vessels, and related activities. • Good understanding of PTW systems, flange management, hydrotesting, and industrial safety requirements. • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and technical documentation. • Strong leadership, planning, and coordination skills.
