About this role
The Management Trainee Programme (MTP) is a leadership development programme that seeks to hone motivated individuals to take on leadership roles in the group’s businesses. Over the course of 6 month, you will be exposed to different aspects of the business and you will learn to assume these varying roles. The Management Trainee – Branding & Operations is responsible for supporting daily business operations while gaining exposure to brand management, marketing initiatives, customer engagement, operational excellence and staff training and development. Sales and Operations: We take the view that this is the heart and soul of our business and this is where you as a management trainee in your field, will get to fully experience and understand the fortitude, character, dynamism and stamina required to excel in this sector. This covers the basics of front of house service and operation. Areas of Work include: 1. Experiencing the different roles in the Front of House Operations model 2. Executing sales plans and activities based on marketing and branding plans Marketing and Business Development: We will also expose and engage you in the marketing and business aspects of the business. You will be trained to understand our marketing and branding principles and be asked to join these meetings. At some stage of your traineeship, we expect constructive input and participation from you. Areas of Work include: 1. Development, Execution and analysis of marketing & branding plans for existing and new concepts 2. Expansion projects relating to business expansions (restaurants, cafes and retail stores) and new opportunities. Training & Staff Development: Supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of employee learning and development initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to training administration, talent development, performance management, employee engagement, and organizational development while preparing the trainee for future leadership positions within the company.
