Responsibilities: • Coordinate with Engineering and construction team to develop comprehensive commissioning plans and schedules • Work closely with vendors, Engineering and construction team to plan and execute commissioning activities • Identify and resolve issues encountered during commissioning activities promptly and effectively to minimize downtime and ensure project timelines are met • Maintain records of commissioning activities, test results, and equipment performance data • Participate in meetings with client and vendors • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations • Any other duties to be assigned from time to time Pre-requisites • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field • Minimum 5 years of experience in commissioning of power plants. Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for a junior role. • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems such as boilers, turbines, pumps, and compressors • Strong understanding of commissioning processes, procedures, and best practices • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams • Commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory requirements
