We are looking for Mechatronics Engineers who want more than a narrow engineering role. Purpose: Build functional prototypes and integrated systemsTasks• Develop and assemble mechatronic prototypes • Integrate sensors, actuators, motors, controllers, and embedded systems • Build proof-of-concept systems for new product ideas • Test and refine system functionality • Support rapid iteration during development cycles 2. Purpose: Bridge hardware, electronics, and software into usable productsTasks• Work closely with industrial designers and mechanical engineers • Support electronics integration into product enclosures and mechanisms • Collaborate on system architecture and hardware selection • Ensure electrical and mechanical compatibility • Support embedded programming and control system development 3. Purpose: Accelerate experimentation and technical problem solvingTasks• Prototype quickly using off-the-shelf and custom components • Troubleshoot hardware and system-level failures • Conduct testing and validation • Identify practical engineering tradeoffs • Improve reliability, usability, and performance through iteration 4. Purpose: Support real-world product development and deploymentTasks• Assist with design-for-manufacturing considerations • Prepare documentation, wiring diagrams, and technical references • Work with suppliers and fabrication partners where needed • Support pilot builds and deployment testing • Help transition prototypes toward production readiness 5. Purpose: Contribute to Meka’s culture of builders and multidisciplinary learningTasks• Share knowledge openly across teams • Learn unfamiliar tools and technologies quickly • Participate in hands-on prototyping and testing • Support teammates across disciplines • Maintain curiosity and initiative across projects Preferred Skills & ExperienceWe are flexible on background if the mindset is strong.
