Microbiologist (12 hr shift)

Key Responsibilities • Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products • Review and approve lab results and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance • Conduct environmental monitoring within cleanroom settings (air, surface & personnel) • Investigate deviations (e.g. OOS, non-conformance) and support root cause analysis • Ensure adherence to GMP, data integrity (ALCOA+), and quality standards • Support method development, sampling plans, and lab procedures • Carry out routine calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of lab equipment • Analyse trends and collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvements • Support audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements • Participate in product transfer projects and ensure lab readiness Requirements • Diploma/Degree in Microbiology, Life Sciences or related discipline • Min 3 years experience in QC microbiology or lab environment within pharma/medical/manufacturing preferred • Familiar with aseptic techniques and cleanroom practices • Knowledge of GMP and quality systems will be an advantage • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills By submitting your resume, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information per ScienTec’s Privacy Policy (scientecconsulting.com/privacy-policy).  This authorizes us to:  Contact you about potential opportunities.  Delete personal data as it is not required at this application stage.  All applications will be processed with strict confidence.
