Job Summary Provide individualized Occupational Therapy interventions for children with developmental challenges, conduct group therapy sessions, and maintain effective communication with parents to support child progress. Stay updated on Pediatric Occupational Therapy advancements and work weekends as needed. Responsibilities • Assess children with developmental challenges such as motor coordination disorder, sensory processing disorder, or autism spectrum disorder to develop tailored Occupational Therapy interventions • Deliver group Occupational Therapy classes focused on skills like handwriting and socialization when required • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers by providing progress updates and recommending home strategies after each therapy session • Continuously update professional knowledge by proactively researching and integrating new developments in Pediatric Occupational Therapy • Commit to working on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) to meet client needs Required competencies and certifications • Full registration with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) • Diploma, Degree, or Masters in Occupational Therapy Preferred competencies and qualifications • Good interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated through effective therapist-parent interactions and team collaboration
