As we work toward our Future Forward 2030 vision, we remain committed to: · Tackling the growing prevalence of kidney failure · Enhancing patient support and care · Leveraging technology to improve the efficacy and quality of treatment We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (Locum) to join our Allied Health Services Team to provide high standards of patient care and ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of therapy as prescribed. Your responsibilities are as follows: Work Commitment: 2 days per week, until Jan 2027 Job Responsibilities: • Assess and identify individual needs of clients and formulate/develop and implement appropriate individualised occupational therapy programs. These may include and not be limited to: Activities for Daily living, Upper limb function and control, sensory and perceptual skills, cognition, assistive devices, home modifications etc. • Work with clients on a one-to-one basis, group or special setting based on their levels of function and severity of disability. • Liaise with various disciplines as required for patient care • Evaluate and document clients’ occupational therapy needs and progress at regular intervals, monitor training programs and review their effectiveness. • Evaluate, prescribe and fabricate/purchase assistive devices as required by patients with/without use of subsidy schemes. • Train and supervise caregivers/volunteers if required • Involvement in research where possible, relevant to areas of occupational therapy service delivery. • Work with team to establish occupational therapy services and programs. • Manage own schedule and daily work routine. • Undertake responsibility and duties assigned by RO/HOD/management/director as necessary. Job Requirement: • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an Institution recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council. • Hold full practicing licence (Full Registration) under Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC). • Preferably with minimum 3 years of relevant experience • A team player and exhibits good communication skills. • Must have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. • Able to converse with all patients’ group and next of kin.
