Roles & Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: . Oversee and manage daily operation activities. · Perform quality controls and monitor production · Train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline employees · Find ways to increase quality of customer service · Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that products are available when needed · Ensuring that products are stored properly to eliminate spoilage or damage · Reviewing sales reports on a regular basis to identify opportunities for inventory turnover or markdowns · Setting up computerized inventory tracking systems to monitor product sales and inventory levels · Responsible for the productivity and efficiency of the operations in the warehouse. · Implement HSE system in the work environment. · Manage storage and materials handling duties related to the warehouse. · Developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote products and increase sales volume · Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings · Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant · Resolve employees' disciplinary issues and outlet manpower needs. · Develop a sound and strong working relationship with all outlet staff and to develop their maximum potential. · Work closely with GM and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation. · Bilingual to liaise with English and Chinese speaking associates · Any other related operational issues and projects as and when required. Requirements and skills · Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role · Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management · Experience budgeting and forecasting · Excellent communication skills · Leadership ability · Outstanding organisational skills · Good problem solver and self-confidence in decision making. · Leadership with strong influential and coaching skills. · Strong inter-personal skills and to lead by example with hands-on approach. · Ensure completion of all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. · Ensure all safety and work rules and regulations are followed. Ensure departmental housekeeping standards. · Singaporean or SPR.
