Part/ Full-time Chinese Language Teacher

At EF International Language Schools- Singapore, our international students join EF programmes to learn English or Mandarin and to experience what Singapore has to offer with regards to social and cultural activities. The school is looking for dynamic Mandarin teachers (Part-time/ Full-time) to teach Mandarin to our students. Qualifications and competencies: · Relevant Bachelor's degree with Chinese Teaching Certificate is required. · Experience in teaching to groups and different types of Mandarin courses (e.g. Business Mandarin, HSK preparation). · Good written and verbal communication skills that can be applied across cultures. · Flexibility, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, combined with flair and creativity to get the job done. · Basic computer literacy. · Singapore Citizen/PR only. Responsibilities: · To teach Mandarin courses as per EF's Efekta System based on task-based learning. · To plan the classes and to mark students’ work. · To contribute help and advise colleagues, and share supplementary materials and ideas for the lessons. · To attend school meetings and contribute to ideas and share suppementary materials to enhance the teaching standards. · To input grades and attendance for students. · To contribute to the development and maintenance of the school’s academic resources. · To administer regular tests to the class.
