Role Overview We are looking for individuals who are passionate about coffee, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences grounded in care and respect. As part of the Alchemist team, you will support daily operations across our outlets and help build a welcoming community through coffee. As an Alchemist team member, you will: • Deliver exceptional hospitality to guests, colleagues, and partners. • Prepare and serve beverages using a variety of brewing and preparation methods. • Stay updated on Alchemist’s beverage menu, brewing standards, and preparation techniques. • Participate in in-house training, tastings, and cuppings to deepen coffee knowledge. • Taste coffee regularly to ensure quality consistency and to develop your palate. • Build connections with guests by sharing coffee knowledge and creating a warm cafe environment. • Support daily cafe operations, including cleaning, clearing tables, washing dishes, and maintaining condiment stations. • Ensure the workspace is clean, safe, and compliant with health and food safety standards. • Work closely with the team and provide support during peak periods. You are someone who is: • Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. • Friendly and outgoing, with confidence in interacting with customers. • Passionate about specialty coffee and hospitality. • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency and quality. • A supportive team player who is willing to step in during busy hours. • Comfortable with POS systems and handling cash transactions. • Open to flexible working hours. • In possession of a valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
