Job Summary The Part-Time IT Support Consultant provides remote technical support and administration for HR-related systems, ensuring smooth operations, security, and user accessibility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, user training, system testing, and maintaining service quality without involving network or hardware management. Responsibilities • Maintain and administer HR-related systems including E-Leave, E-Payslip, E-Payroll, E-Typing Centre, and Employee Self-Service Portal to ensure continuous system availability and performance • Configure and manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings to uphold system integrity and data confidentiality • Monitor workflows, system functions, policy configurations, web hosting services, and automated backups to support operational continuity • Provide remote technical support via TeamViewer, WhatsApp, email, and other channels to diagnose and resolve user-reported system issues promptly • Analyze incident reports and user-submitted documentation to identify root causes and recommend improvements for system efficiency • Conduct user training and system familiarisation sessions to enhance user competence and adoption of system features • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for system updates and enhancements to validate functionality and performance • Prepare and maintain user guidance materials and documentation for system navigation and troubleshooting • Coordinate with client representatives to escalate and resolve technical issues while maintaining accurate records of incidents and resolutions • Perform system testing and quality assurance activities to identify and rectify bugs and ensure compliance with operational requirements • Respond to support requests within agreed timelines, monitor service quality, and maintain high user satisfaction during designated support hours • Maintain system security controls, enforce user access permissions, and support data protection and confidentiality standards • Assist in backup and recovery processes to safeguard system data and support business continuity Required competencies and certifications • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT support, HRIS administration, or related technical support functions Preferred competencies and qualifications • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and remote support tools • Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively assist users and stakeholders • Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
