Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Part Time Digital Printer to operate and maintain digital printing machines for high-quality print production. The role involves handling short-run and on-demand digital jobs (e.g., brochures, posters, labels, banners, and variable data printing) while ensuring efficiency, color accuracy, and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Operate and maintain digital printing equipment to produce high-quality prints • Set up and calibrate machines according to job specifications including file preparation, substrate selection, and color management • Monitor print quality during runs and adjust color, registration, and density to ensure accuracy • Conduct proofing to verify print output meets standards • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance • Perform pre-press checks on digital files to ensure optimal output and color accuracy • Manage production workflow by preparing paper, queuing jobs, handling materials, and completing finishing tasks such as laminating, cutting, and folding • Maintain accurate production records, track material usage, and minimize waste to meet productivity and quality targets • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards (WSH) and company procedures • Assist with general production tasks to support team objectives • Work in the evenings, weekends and public holidays Preferred competencies and qualifications • 1–3 years of hands-on experience operating digital printing machines • Knowledge of color management, RIP software, and file formats such as PDF • Ability to read and interpret job tickets and customer specifications • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20–25kg • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and quality focus • Team player with good communication skills and flexibility to work shifts if required • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with printing industry software • Relevant certification in printing or technical training is an advantage Other Information • Competitive salary based on experience • Performance bonuses
