Part-Time Junior / Entry-Level Piano TeacherLocation: Singapore Employment Type: Part-time About UsWe are a growing, student-focused music school dedicated to delivering structured, engaging, and joyful piano lessons for children. Our programs emphasize strong foundations, confidence-building, and long-term musical growth in a positive learning environment. Role OverviewWe are looking for a passionate and reliable Part-Time Junior Piano Teacher who enjoys working with children and is committed to delivering high-quality lessons using structured curriculum plans. You will be teaching young beginners and elementary-level students in both individual and small group settings. ⏰ Availability RequirementsApplicants should be able to commit to: • At least 1 weekend day (10am–3pm) • Between 1–3 weekday afternoons/evenings (3pm–9pm) Consistent availability is preferred. ✅ RequirementsQualifications (One of the following):• Diploma or Degree in Music, Piano Performance, Music Education, or Early Childhood Education • OR ABRSM Grade 8 Piano (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of teaching experience • OR ABRSM Grade 5 Piano (or equivalent) with experience in early childhood education Experience:• Minimum 1 year of piano teaching experience preferred • Experience teaching children aged 3–12 is a strong advantage Key Traits We’re Looking For• Extremely patient and calm with young learners • Engaging, energetic, and able to hold a child’s attention • Able to follow structured lesson plans and curriculum systems • Adaptable — able to adjust teaching strategies based on student learning styles • Clear communicator with both students and parents • Responsible, punctual, and open to feedback Responsibilities• Conduct engaging and structured piano lessons • Follow provided curriculum and lesson frameworks • Track student progress and provide updates when necessary • Prepare students for performances, assessments, or recitals • Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom environment What We Offer• Structured teaching system and training support • Ready-made curriculum and lesson resources • Supportive and collaborative work environment • Opportunities for growth within the school If you are passionate about nurturing young musicians and growing in a structured music education environment, we’d love to hear from you.
