Part-Time Piano Teacher (Weekday Afternoons & Evenings) Soundsteps Music Academy is looking for a passionate and reliable piano teacher who enjoys working with children and wants to grow within a structured teaching environment. Location: Bukit Timah Shopping Centre ⏰ Availability Required • 2-4 weekday afternoons/evenings (3pm–9pm) • Additional availability is an advantage Please note that student schedules take time to build and fill. This role is best suited for candidates seeking a long-term teaching opportunity rather than immediate full teaching hours. ✅ Preferred Qualifications • ABRSM Grade 8 Piano (or equivalent) • ABRSM Grade 5 Theory (or equivalent) • Minimum 1 year of piano teaching experience • Experience teaching children is highly preferred We Are Looking For Someone Who Is • Patient, engaging, and nurturing with young learners • Able to follow structured curriculum and lesson plans • Adaptable to different learning styles and classroom situations • Professional, responsible, and receptive to feedback • Interested in continuous improvement as an educator Training & Development Successful candidates will undergo: • Online training modules • Written assignments • Mock teaching sessions with the school owner • Curriculum familiarisation and lesson observation Commitment • Minimum commitment of 1.5 years • Willingness to grow with the school and maintain consistent teaching availability Compensation Pay will be based on qualifications, experience, teaching ability, and assigned teaching load.
