About this role
Job Description • Shuck oysters in a timely manner while maintaining quality oyster presentation. • Attend to multiple orders simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy. • Set up raw bar and provide quality service for catering events. • Collaborate with the head chef to shuck and serve oysters during food service. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shucking station. • Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed. • Provide exceptional customer service, enhancing the dining experience. • Assist with inventory management and supply ordering as needed. • Assist with other kitchen prep work Requirements: • Ability to shuck oysters quickly and efficiently while maintaining presentation standards. • Capability to handle a high volume of orders in a fast-paced environment. • Experience setting up and operating a raw bar. • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with the head chef and other team members. • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
