Company Overview Newtro is a Trading Card retail shop in Singapore, shipping locally and internationally. With over 5 years in the industry, we offer a wide variety of products including Pokemon, One Piece, Labubu, and MLBB. We are expanding and seeking team members passionate about trading card games. Other Information • Location: In-store near Bishan/Marymount MRT, moving to next to Havelock MRT in May • Hours: Flexible part-time; full day shift 3-8pm (may adjust from May); 3-4 hour shifts possible but not preferred • Pay: $9-10/hr depending on availability and scope • Trial Period: 3-4 weeks • Commitment: Minimum 3 months Job Summary Join Newtro’s TCG team to assist customers, manage orders, and support trading card game events in a flexible part-time role with training provided. No prior TCG experience required. This role is suitable for students or homemakers with a minimum commitment period of 3 months. Customer interaction will be limited to basic walk-in customer questions at the counter. Stock taking will be limited to front facing (i.e, no entry to admin/storage room). This role does not involve dealing with special requests, handling online customer enquiries (e.g. Telegram), managing back-end stock, or managing suppliers. For the first few days, you will observe how we usually answer customer questions while helping with admin work, and learn our usual scripted responses and workflows. All tasks in this role are based on existing processes and clear instructions, and you’ll always be able to check in if you’re unsure. Responsibilities • Assist walk-in customers at the counter by answering basic questions clearly, courteously, and with a friendly disposition • Pack orders accurately following prepared instructions to ensure timely delivery • Carry and sort products efficiently to maintain stock readiness • Enter card details into Excel or Google Sheets to maintain accurate records • Check market pricing of single cards to support sales and inventory decisions • Count and tally display items against inventory to ensure stock accuracy • Create and film social media content to promote products and events • Maintain clean and organized work areas to support smooth operations • Perform pre-grading of cards using prepared instructions to assist quality control • Accept grading submissions and process them according to guidelines • Support live streaming activities and manage live streaming administration tasks • Organize and facilitate TCG tournaments to engage the community and promote events Your actual scope will be assessed and determined after the trial period. Required competencies Experience and knowledge in TCG is beneficial but not required - training will be provided. ---
