Part-Time Tutors / Teachers – English, Mathematics and Science

Work Arrangement: Online and/or in-person lessons available, depending on students’ needs. Subjects Required: English Mathematics Science / Physics / Chemistry / Biology Hourly Rate: Applicants are required to state their expected hourly rate in the application. Job Description: We are looking for experienced part-time tutors/teachers to support primary and secondary school students in English, Mathematics and Science. Lessons may be conducted online or in person, depending on students’ needs and the teacher’s availability. The teacher should be able to provide targeted academic support, identify students’ weak areas and help students improve their subject understanding, examination skills and overall academic performance. Key Responsibilities: Teach students from primary to secondary levels based on their learning needs. Prepare suitable lesson plans, worksheets and practice materials. Provide clear explanations and targeted guidance. Help students improve subject knowledge, answering techniques and examination performance. Support students preparing for school exams, AEIS, O-Level, IGCSE or international school entrance assessments where applicable. Monitor students’ learning progress and provide feedback when required. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject or related field. At least 5 years of teaching or tutoring experience. Strong subject knowledge and good communication skills. Able to teach in a clear, structured and patient manner. Familiarity with Singapore MOE syllabus, AEIS, O-Level, IGCSE or international school curriculum will be an advantage. Experience teaching international students will be preferred. Responsible, punctual and able to commit to regular lesson schedules. Must be Bilingual Subject-Specific Requirements: English: Able to teach reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, writing and examination answering skills. Mathematics: Able to explain mathematical concepts clearly and guide students in problem-solving and exam-style questions. Science: Able to teach general Science and/or Physics, Chemistry or Biology. Able to explain scientific concepts clearly and help students apply them to structured and application-based questions.
