About this role
Join us as a Part-Time/Adhoc Kitchen Helper at Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong, you will be supporting the kitchen team in preparing for All-Day Modern Asian and Western Classics dishes at our Baba Chews restaurant (Non-Halal) according to recipe standards with consistent quality and portion control. Basic per Hour: $13 - $14 (depending on experience) Working Days: Mon - Sun Working Hours: 12pm to 8pm Working Location: Baba Chews Restaurant (5 min walk from Marine Parade MRT) Duties & Responsibilities • Prepare and cook dishes following standard recipes and portions. • Handle daily cutting, portioning, and preparation. • Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency. • Keep the kitchen clean and compliant with food safety rules. • Monitor inventory and help with stock checks. • Work with chefs and teammates to keep operations smooth. • Support new recipe trials/R&D when needed. • Perform all other ad-hoc as assigned by management and supervisors. • 1–2 years’ experience in a central kitchen, catering, or restaurant. • Basic cooking and food prep skills. • Able to work in a fast-paced, high‑pressure environment.
