About this role
Contract Period: From 1 July 2026 to 30 November 2026 with an option to extend the contract for another year Working hours: · Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break · Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays Scope of Services: 1. First responding: · Responds to call for help from teachers to remove student and bring the student to pull-out location · Provides triaging and basic counselling for students who flareup · Contact parents to provide first updates · Provides input to SC, SENO, DM, SDT for follow-up 2. Befriending/mentoring: · Befriend and mentor students at risk of re-offending 3. Other duties: · Manages student engagement activity hub · Supports after-school programmes / learning journeys for high-needs pupils · Attends CMT meetings to be familiar with identified SwANs Qualification, Skill & Experience: · Bachelor of Arts / Science in Psychology / Counselling · At least 2 years of experience working with children ages between 6 to 12
