About this role
We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Pastry & Gelato Production Executive to join our growing production kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of gelato, cakes, desserts, and other pastry products while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, food safety, and cleanliness. This role is suitable for candidates with experience in pastry, bakery, gelato, dessert production, or central kitchen operations. Key ResponsibilitiesGelato Production • Prepare gelato bases and ingredients according to company recipes. • Produce and churn gelato using commercial gelato equipment. • Monitor product quality, texture, and consistency. • Assist in developing and testing new gelato flavours. Pastry & Cake Production • Prepare cakes, cheesecakes, mille crepes, and dessert components. • Assist in baking, assembly, decoration, and finishing of products. • Follow standard recipes and production procedures accurately. • Ensure products meet company presentation and quality standards. Kitchen Operations • Prepare ingredients and perform daily mise en place. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations. • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times. • Assist in stock rotation, inventory control, and receiving of goods. • Support packing and preparation of products for retail outlets and customer orders. Teamwork & Continuous Improvement • Work closely with the production team to meet daily production targets. • Participate in product trials and menu development. • Provide suggestions to improve efficiency and product quality. Requirements• Minimum 1 year of experience in pastry, bakery, dessert, gelato, or related food production. • Basic understanding of baking and dessert preparation. • Positive attitude and willingness to learn. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Good time management and attention to detail. • Experience with gelato production will be an advantage.
