Patient Service Associate, Outpatient (2-year Contract)*(10158) - Alexandra Hospital

Overview As a Patient Service Associate, you will deliver friendly and efficient customer service and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all internal and external customers / patients, with the key aim of providing excellent patient care and satisfaction. Job Responsibilities • Ensure clinic’s operational and procedural area readiness based on desired service standards. • Assist with smooth patient journey including accurate and timely registration, discharge, appointment bookings, cashiering and any other enquiries such as insurance provider’s information for billing. • Provide chaperone assistance to doctors/nurses and prepare consultation documents. • Attend to any requests, emails, and phone enquiries. • Assist clinic manager in administrative duties. • Perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time. Requirements • Candidate must possess at least “O” Levels/Diploma. • Proficient in computer skills, handling multiple systems will be an advantage. • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak a second language will be an advantage. • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. • Candidates should be comfortable/flexible with working in a hospital setting and in different clinics when needed. Prior experience in hospitality or service industries will be an advantage. • Be comfortable with working in inpatient wards if required. Working schedule 5-day work week (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm or 8:30am to 6pm, depending on the respective hiring clinic) This is a 2-year contract role, subject to contract extension or permanent conversion based on satisfactory work performance. *Only Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents may apply.
