Senior Performance Engineer6+ Years Experience | Extendable Full-Time Contract | On-site We're looking for a Senior Performance Engineer who can own the full performance story - from workload modeling to stakeholder sign-off - and make sure our systems never let users down when it matters most. The opportunity What you'll be doing• Lead end-to-end performance testing - from requirements analysis and workload modeling to test planning, execution, and defect management across benchmark, load, stress, and endurance tests. • Be the trusted advisor on performance strategy - guide client stakeholders on efficient, production-realistic test approaches and translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations. • Dig deep into system behavior - monitor application and system logs, analyze CPU, memory, network, GC, and database metrics to pinpoint bottlenecks and drive resolution with cross-functional teams. • Own the performance narrative - publish detailed test results and status reports, manage defect tracking in JIRA, and secure stakeholder sign-off at every key milestone. • Shape test environments and data - set up and maintain test environments, ensure test data accuracy, and collaborate with infrastructure teams on on-premise and cloud deployments (OCP, AWS). • Champion observability - leverage monitoring tools to track system health proactively, not just reactively. Tools & technologies• LoadRunner / LRE • Grafana • Prometheus • Geneos • Splunk • BMC TrueSight • JIRA • Confluence • LoadRunner protocols (hands-on required) • Web HTTP/HTML • TruClient • Web Services • Java • MQ • RTE Skills & experience• 6+ years of hands-on performance testing and performance engineering experience. • Mandatory programming proficiency in one or more of: C, C++, Java • Proven expertise in test strategy definition, test estimation, workload modeling, test case design, and defect management. • Strong analytical ability to interpret performance results; CPU utilization, memory, network, GC activity, and database parameters and translate findings into stakeholder-ready reports. • Agile mindset with experience working in sprint-based delivery and exposure to on-premise and cloud environments (OCP, AWS). • Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike, and skilled at influencing without authority.
