We provide a "home away from home" for our furry guests, focusing on safety, routine, and a stress-free environment through gentle handling and positive reinforcement. Role OverviewAs a Night Shift Attendant, you are the protector of our guests during their most vulnerable hours. You will provide 24-hour physical supervision, ensuring every dog feels secure and settled in their individual pods for a restful night. Key Responsibilities• Nightly Supervision: Physically present at the facility throughout the night to monitor sleeping pet guests and respond immediately to any emergencies or distress. • Late-Night Care: Conduct late-evening potty breaks and administer nighttime medications as instructed. • Facility Maintenance: Perform deep-cleaning and sanitisation of play areas, kennels, and common spaces to ensure a high standard of hygiene for the morning. • Morning Preparation: Assist with early morning feeding routines and prepare the facility for the incoming day shift. • Detailed Reporting: Document overnight activity, including any changes in health or behavior, and provide updates for morning staff and "pawrents". • Laundry & Stocking: Manage facility laundry (bedding/towels) and replenish supplies like food and cleaning products. Requirements & Qualifications• Compassion: A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being. • Reliability: High level of integrity and dependability, as you will often work independently. • Observation Skills: Ability to recognise subtle signs of canine stress or illness. • Physical Stamina: Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 10-15kgas needed. • Calm Demeanor: Ability to remain calm and use gentle handling techniques during night-time disturbances. • Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
