Job Summary We seek passionate Piano Teachers to deliver flexible, meaningful lessons, contribute to curriculum development, and grow with our studio through a supportive, performance-driven environment. Responsibilities • Conduct engaging piano lessons tailored to students of various ages and skill levels to enhance their musical skills • Develop students’ musical understanding, technique, and confidence through structured teaching methods • Prepare students effectively for graded ABRSM exams, recitals, and competitions to achieve measurable progress • Monitor and track student progress regularly to adjust teaching strategies and support learning outcomes • Maintain a positive and passionate attitude to foster a motivating learning environment • Contribute innovative ideas for new programmes and curriculum development to enhance the academy’s offerings • Collaborate with the director and teaching team to align teaching goals and share best practices Preferred competencies and qualifications • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Music, Performance, or equivalent qualification • Strong knowledge of piano techniques and music theory to support comprehensive teaching • Experience teaching young beginners (age 3–6) and adults to address diverse learner needs • Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience demonstrating effective student engagement and progress • Responsible, patient, and student-focused approach to teaching • Proficient in English; multilingual abilities are a plus • Bonus: Experience in performance or competition coaching • Bonus: Experience in group teaching settings Other Information • Flexible working hours to accommodate personal schedules • Training and mentorship opportunities provided to support professional growth • Opportunities to influence school curriculum and programme development • Clear career progression path from Associate Teacher to Senior Teacher and Lead Teacher • Part-time and full-time positions available with weekend availability preferred • Application process: Submit resume and a brief write-up of teaching experience and philosophy via email to contact.kea.education@gmail
