About this role
Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. • Prepare baseline programs, manpower deployment plans, equipment schedules, and resource forecasts. • Coordinate planning activities for waste collection systems, waste processing facilities, recycling operations, and environmental infrastructure projects. • Monitor project progress against approved milestones and identify schedule risks or delays. • Prepare short-term and long-term look-ahead schedules. • Recommend mitigation and recovery plans to address project delays. • Liaise with project managers, operations teams, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants on planning matters. • Coordinate shutdowns, maintenance schedules, commissioning activities, and operational interfaces. • Track procurement, delivery schedules, authority submissions, inspections, and testing activities. • Attend coordination meetings and provide schedule updates to stakeholders. • Maintain accurate planning records and documentation. • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and S-curve updates. • Monitor productivity, resource utilization, and project performance indicators. • Conduct critical path analysis and highlight potential impacts on project delivery. • Support preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims and variation order documentation. • Assist in budget monitoring and project forecasting. • Ensure project schedules comply with NEA requirements, environmental regulations, and workplace safety standards. • Coordinate with HSE and QA/QC teams to align project timelines with compliance activities. • Identify planning risks, operational constraints, and resource conflicts. Support project audits, inspections, and management reviews. Qualifications • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline. • Shall have at least 10 years of relevant experience in planning and sequencing construction activities, including construction site staging, utilization planning, interfacing with contractor/consultants, and working with statutory authorities, or experience in solid waste management projects. • Experience working on NEA or public-sector projects in Singapore is preferred. • Proficient in Primavera P6. • Strong understanding of project scheduling, resource planning, and project controls. • Familiarity with waste management operations, recycling facilities, or environmental services is an advantage.
