Platform Engineer -12 months CONTRACT | ON SITE

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer/ Software Dev to analyse, design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise web-based applications and systems. Responsibilities• Gather and analyse user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications and web solutions. • Perform system analysis, database design, troubleshooting, and quality assurance. • Work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams to deliver solutions. Requirements• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems analysis, design, development, and implementation. • Strong hands-on experience in:Java / J2EESpring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Web)Hibernate / JPAAngular / AngularJS, Struts, Node.jsREST / SOAP Web ServicesHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SQLPega technologies including Pega CRM, Pega Frameworks, and PRPC • Experience with DB2 and MongoDB databases. • Familiarity with JBoss/WildFly, WebLogic, and WebSphere. • Exposure to Azure cloud platform. • Experience working in Unix and Windows environments. • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Preferred Skills• IBM MQ, SOA, Responsive Web Design • Azure Spring Apps and Azure DevOps (AzDO) • Apache/IIS Web Server experience • COBOL, CICS, DB2 legacy systems • AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Amazon Q Developer • Vendor management experience
