Preschool Assistant Teacher (Part Time)

Position: Preschool Assistant Teacher (Part-Time) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM Location: Choa Chu Kang We are looking for a caring and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. You will work closely with the main teacher to support classroom activities, daily routines, and care-giving tasks that contribute to each child’s overall development. Key Responsibilities:• Assist the main teacher in conducting engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities. • Support children in their daily routines, including snack time, toileting, and nap supervision. • Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment for all children. • Offer emotional and social support to help children feel secure and confident. • Help with the preparation of teaching materials and upkeep of classroom organisation. • Participate in school events, training sessions, and parent-teacher meetings when required. • Collaborate effectively with fellow educators and adhere to the centre’s curriculum and guidelines. Requirements:• Possess a Fundamental Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (FECCE). • Genuine interest in working with young children and a nurturing disposition. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. • Responsible, patient, and dependable.
