Production Operator (6-Month Contract)

Job Summary You will support daily manufacturing operations in a regulated environment, ensuring product quality, safety compliance, and efficient production processes during a 6-month contract. Responsibilities • Prepare raw materials, packaging materials, and pack finished goods according to production schedules • Operate, monitor, and clean production equipment following standard operating procedures • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality and quantity specifications • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and workplace safety standards consistently • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area to support operational efficiency • Accurately complete production documentation and maintain records for traceability • Perform minor equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime • Assist in implementing operational improvements and sustainability initiatives to enhance processes • Participate actively in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on procedures • Provide flexible support across various production activities as needed to meet operational demands Preferred competencies and qualifications • Experience in manufacturing or production environments, preferably in food, chemical, or regulated industries • Familiarity with GMP or similar quality systems to support compliance • Basic mechanical skills or hands-on experience with production equipment • Ability to work rotating shifts and extended hours as required • Physical capability to handle operational tasks including material handling • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
