About this role
1.0 DESCRIPTION1.1 As a Production Superintendent you are accountable for and manage all topside Production discipline activities on board. 2.0 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES2.1 Safely meet Production targets efficiently and fulfil contractual obligations, you are to: 2.1.1 Meet the Production Plan, safely operate the plant within design parameters as per operation manual and raise feedback/deviations when needed; 2.1.2 Collaborate with the shore base team and discipline Specialists to deliver the production plan; 2.1.3 Be a focal point for clients and vendor work in Production areas; 2.1.4 Fully collaborate and support Head of Departments (HODs) and Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) to achieve business objectives. 2.2 To achieve added value for clients and HBA by developing constructive relationships whilst defending HBA’s interests, you are to: 2.2.1 Be the focal point to review / implement / authorize requests from clients; 2.2.2 Manage / Support vendor work in Production areas; 2.2.3 Analyze production shortage/deferment. Identify responsibilities between HBA and client as defined in the contract; 2.2.4 Propose corrective actions if relevant. 2.3 To effectively lead a Production Team, you are to: 2.3.1 Ensure the Production team has clear objectives aligned with the business. 2.3.2 Monitor and manage individual and team performances. 2.3.3 Provides support and ensure individual and team development, training and competence is fulfilled. 3.0 REQUIREMENTS3.1 3 years minimum holding position of Production Superintendent/ Operations Superintendent onboard an operating FPSO. 3.2 Chemical Engineering or Oil & Gas processing academic qualification. 3.3 10 – 15 years’ experience and knowledge in hydrocarbon processing systems and utility systems offshore. 3.4 Supervisory experience of Permit to Work, Mechanical/Electrical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment. 3.5 Availability to be deployed overseas/ onboard FPSO. 3.6 Personal: Conscientious, flexible, versatile, and determined. Capable of assertive and positive communication and performance. 3.7 Leadership: Exemplary safety and managerial leadership skills. Good levels of written and spoken communication in English language. Clear understanding of personnel behavioural and team issues. Capable of motivating Senior staff members and teams. Flexible in applying different approaches to changing work demands. 3.8 IT Knowledge: Practical familiarity with standard ‘Office’ software package. Operation and use of Internet and electronic mail system. 3.9 Comply with HSE requirements: 3.9.1 Environmental Aspects & Impacts Assessment. 3.9.2 OHS Hazardous & Risk Assessment. 3.9.3 Follow HSE Regulations.
