Programme Officer (teacher)

Job Summary Perform comprehensive care and educational support for primary school-age children, delivering structured programmes and fostering character development to drive positive student outcomes and contribute to a nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities • Deliver care services ensuring proper hygiene, routines, and safety for primary school-age children • Facilitate and supervise homework sessions to support students’ academic progress and engagement • Design, structure, and implement educational programmes tailored to primary school children’s developmental needs • Conduct Islam for Life Mastery programmes as assigned, collaborating with the Programme Officer (General) to deliver integrated learning experiences • Manage student behaviour and relationships to promote positive character development and a supportive environment • Collaborate with team members to maintain a conducive learning environment through resource development, setup, and centre upkeep • Adapt and develop learning resources independently using IT tools aligned with the curriculum requirements • Demonstrate a proactive and teachable approach to continuously improve programme delivery and student engagement Required competencies and certifications • At least a diploma certification in areas pertaining to education and learning. • Possess ARS certification for Programme Officer (Ukhrawi) • 3 years of experience in the field of education that involves teaching and care for children • IT savvy • Had developed and conducted programmes for children Preferred competencies and qualifications • Exhibit patience and passion to nurture children’s individual talents and giftedness • Demonstrate ability to work effectively within a team and take responsibility for contributing to the centre’s success • Maintain a good health record to meet the physical demands of the role
