Project Engineer (1 year)

Job Description• Management of assigned projects in security systems such as CCTV Surveillance System, Intrusion Detection System, Electronics Access Control System, Audio/Video Intercom System, etc. • Implementation of installation, testing and commissioning of the security systems as per customer requirements within budget and delivery schedule. • Attend site meetings to monitor status of projects. • To liaise with Architects, Consultants, Main Contractors, Interior Designers, etc to provide accurate feedback on the progress of works, technical compliance to specifications and variation claims. • Procurement of materials and delivery to site in a timely manner in accordance to site progress and within project's budget. • Conduct detailed training to customers on the operational use of the installed, security systems. • Ensure subcontractors on-site perform the work in accordance with the approved drawings and instructions as appropriate. • Ensure shop drawings, floor plan drawings and line diagrams are correctly updated for each project before handing over to Maintenance Department. • Manage customer feedback/complaints and take corrective/preventive action. • Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on progress reports, forecasts, technical problems encountered, etc. • Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering related or IT Computer Science / networking related expertise • Excellent project and people management skills. • Hands-on project execution and management • Good oral and written communication skills. • Use of Microsoft Office applications. • Good working knowledge on IP data networks The Successful ApplicantA successful Project Engineer should have: • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in technology or engineering. • Managing technical projects within the business services industry. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Proficiency in project management tools and software. • Excellent communication • Compliance requirements and industry standards.
