About this role
Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer with an Electronics and Communication Engineering background to support and deliver large-scale defense projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end, from conceptualization through execution to final delivery, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely completion. Key Responsibilities Project Lifecycle Management • Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and delivery • Support project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet technical and contractual requirements • Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within scope Technical & Engineering Activities • Review and contribute to system design, specifications, and engineering documentation • Ensure all engineering solutions comply with relevant standards, safety requirements, and defense regulations • Provide technical support and resolve engineering issues throughout the project lifecycle Subcontractor & Stakeholder Management • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers • Ensure subcontractors deliver according to agreed technical specifications, timelines, and quality standards • Act as a key liaison between internal teams, customers, and external partners Documentation & Reporting • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including: • Technical specifications Design documents Test procedures and reports Progress and status reports • Ensure all deliverables are properly documented and meet contractual requirements Testing & Acceptance • Plan, coordinate, and carry out Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) • Validate system performance against requirements and ensure compliance • Support customer acceptance and certification processes Delivery & Implementation • Oversee system integration, installation, and commissioning activities • Ensure successful handover and delivery of projects to customers • Address post-delivery issues and support final project closure Requirements Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related discipline Experience • Experience in large-scale defense or complex engineering projects • Proven track record in managing projects across full lifecycle phases • Experience working with subcontractors and cross-functional teams Technical Skills • Strong understanding of communication systems and engineering principles • Knowledge in the following topics, • Satellite communications Microwave communications Mesh networking TCP/IP Routing protocols VLAN architecture QoS management Network security Voice over IP Frequency hopping Encryption Interoperability gateways • Familiarity with system integration, testing, and validation processes • Knowledge of Military Standards, compliance, and quality requirements is an advantage Soft Skills • Strong project management and organizational skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities • Ability to work independently and in a team environment under tight deadlines • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Key Competencies • End-to-end project ownership • Technical leadership • Risk management and problem-solving • Quality and compliance focus Working Location : Central **We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
