JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Purchaser cum Admin Executive Occupation: Purchasing Agent Employment Type: 6-Month Renewable Contract Job Description & RequirementsWe are looking for a Purchaser cum Admin Executive to support procurement and administrative functions, preferably with experience in the construction or main contractor environment. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials and services, coordinating deliveries, maintaining procurement records, and supporting general administrative and manpower-related documentation. Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement – Construction Focus • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for construction materials, tools, equipment, and services. • Prepare material request forms, obtain quotations, evaluate cost competitiveness, and issue purchase orders in accordance with company procedures. • Coordinate deliveries to project sites and ensure materials are delivered on time to meet project schedules. • Monitor inventory of site materials, track usage, and liaise with site supervisors or engineers on material requirements. • Maintain supplier records and assist in assessing supplier performance based on reliability, pricing, and quality. • Resolve discrepancies relating to deliveries, invoices, quantities, or material quality issues. Administrative Support • Handle procurement, contract, and project-related documentation and correspondence. • Maintain proper filing of purchase orders, invoices, delivery orders, quotations, and supplier agreements. • Assist with manpower-related administrative tasks, including worker documentation, safety passes, permit renewals, and related records, where required. • Support office administration duties such as stationery and supplies management, scheduling, and general record keeping. • Coordinate with project and accounts teams to ensure smooth processing of invoices, claims, and supporting documents. Requirements & Qualifications• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or administration, preferably in the construction or main contractor industry. • Knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and site operations will be an advantage. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Experience with ERP or procurement systems will be an added advantage. • Good negotiation, coordination, and communication skills. • Able to liaise effectively with suppliers, project teams, accounts team, and site personnel. • Able to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
