Job Description • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in compliance with contract requirements, ISO 9001, and client specifications. • Establish and monitor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures for all project activities. • Ensure the project quality management system (QMS) is effectively applied across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases. • Lead the QA/QC team, including QC Inspectors, QC Clerks, and subcontractor quality representatives. • Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure quality requirements are fully understood and implemented. • Act as the primary interface with the client’s quality representatives and third-party inspectors. • Approve inspection schedules and ensure that inspections are conducted in accordance with approved ITPs. • Monitor fabrication, installation, and testing activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards. • Ensure that all equipment and materials meet contractual quality requirements before use. • Establish and manage the system for reporting, tracking, and closing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), and Preventive Action Requests (PARs). • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence. • Plan and conduct internal and subcontractor audits to verify compliance with the QMS and contract requirements. • Facilitate quality awareness training and toolbox talks for project staff. • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in quality processes. • Oversee the preparation, maintenance, and control of all quality records, including inspection reports, material certificates, and test data. • Ensure final quality documentation (as-built dossiers) is compiled and submitted for project handover. • Work closely with the HSE Manager to ensure that quality and safety systems are aligned and mutually supportive. • Promote a culture of “right first time” in all project activities. Requirement • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related) from a recognized institution. • Seatrium or Project experience mandatory. • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and auditing processes. • Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as IEC, IEEE, ASME, BS EN, and project-specific client specifications. • Minimum 10 years’ experience in QA/QC roles, including at least 5 years in a management position for EPC, offshore, or oil & gas projects. • Experience managing quality across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and handover phases. • Understanding of coating inspection, mechanical completion, and pre-commissioning requirements. • Ability to interpret ITPs, method statements, and material certificates. • Experience in planning, executing, and reporting on internal, external, and supplier audits. • Skilled in identifying non-conformances and implementing effective corrective actions. • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary QA/QC teams and interface effectively with clients and subcontractors. • Strong communication and reporting skills, with experience presenting quality performance metrics to senior management and clients. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software (e.g., Q-Smartsheet, SharePoint). • Familiarity with electronic document control systems for quality records. • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (mandatory). • Lean Six Sigma Certifications (optional but beneficial). • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action Planning training. • Risk Assessment & Method Statement (RAMS) familiarization.
