Quality Assurance Engineer

Position   Join our Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance team as a Quality Assurance Engineer where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our global banking operations.   In this position, you will:   • Lead test automation initiatives using our Selenium-based framework, directly impacting release quality and speed;  • Collaborate with development and operations teams across Singapore and Paris HQ to maintain our high standards;  • Contribute to our department-wide test automation chapter, sharing expertise and driving best practices;  • Perform critical non-regression testing for application releases supporting the bank's worldwide operations; Main Responsibilities   • Perform non-regression testing on upcoming application releases to ensure quality and stability;  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium-based testing framework;  • Collaborate with development and operations teams for efficient troubleshooting and issue resolution;  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues through resolution;  • Contribute to the test automation chapter, sharing knowledge and best practices across the department;  • Reduce non-regression test lead times and increase test coverage through automation initiatives;  • Monitor and execute scheduled test jobs (daily, weekly, monthly);  • Maintain and improve existing testing workflows, processes, and frameworks;  • Prepare test reports and documentation for stakeholders;   May work in rotational shifts to support collaboration with Paris HQ and global operation;    Qualifications and Profile   The successful candidate should have:   • Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science/ information technology/ Programming & Systems Analysis/ Science (Computer Studies) faculties;  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Test Engineer, preferably in a banking or financial services environment;  Technical   • Good hands-on experience in following technologies:   • Test automation: Selenium, Java;  • Programming/Scripting: Python, Java;  • Version control systems: Git;  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins or similar;   • Database: SQL scripting (SQL Server or Oracle preferred);   • API Testing: REST API experience;   Nice to Have   • Experience with Docker, Kafka, MQSeries;  • Familiarity with task schedulers such as Control-M;  • Knowledge of observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus);  • Experience with Agile and ITIL practices;  • Understanding of Lean management principles;  • Additional certifications in software testing (ISTQB) or related areas; Should you be interested in this career opportunity, please send in your updated resume to apply@sciente.com at the earliest.  When you apply, you voluntarily consent to the disclosure, collection and use of your personal data for employment/recruitment and related purposes in accordance with the SCIENTE Group Privacy Policy, a copy of which is published at SCIENTE’s website(https://www.sciente.com/privacy-policy).  Confidentiality is assured, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interviews.  EA Licence No. 07C5639
