Job DescriptionThe Research Assistant will support research in economics and computer science on the DebiaSING project, which focuses on bias in large language models. The appointee will contribute to research activities under the guidance of the principal investigator and work within a multidisciplinary environment. Scope and Responsibilities: The appointee will support research on bias in large language models under the DebiaSING project. Responsibilities may include literature review, experimental work, model evaluation, data analysis, and other related research support activities in economics and computer science. The role may also involve assisting with documentation, report preparation, and coordination of project tasks as assigned by the principal investigator. Required skills and interests: Applicants should have an interest in bias, fairness, and responsible use of AI systems, with strong analytical skills and the ability to work across economics and computer science contexts. Programming and data analysis ability are preferred, as well as familiarity with machine learning, large language models, or related computational methods. QualificationsApplicants should have a relevant academic background in computer engineering, computer science, economics, or a closely related discipline. A Bachelor's degree or recent Master's degree is required for this role, together with demonstrable research capability and strong written and verbal English skills.
