Research Intern

Research Intern Recruitment As a Research Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the team to develop trading and investment ideas for the company. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable research experience and mentorship, allowing you to contribute to meaningful projects while honing your investment acumen. This internship may require flexibility in your work hours. Please note that, on occasion, you may be required to work overnight hours between 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM as part of covering the US markets. These instances will be scheduled in advance and communicated to interns. Job Description - Keeping up to date with market news, developments, and economic trends. - Learn & operate OAC’s proprietary processes to assist with idea generation. - Develop ideas by researching, examining company profiles and market data using Bloomberg or other online research portals. - Update and review quarterly earnings results of selected companies - Ad hoc projects assigned from time to time to assist with improving operational processes at OAC. Skills and Qualifications Requirement - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to details. - Self-driven and able to work effectively under pressure. - Possess a strong interest in understanding the global financial markets. - A finance or programming diploma/degree is preferred but not an absolute requirement. - Proficient in using online research services such as SeekingAlpha, Substack etc. - Some knowledge in using Bloomberg terminal preferred. - Strong proficiency in Excel preferred. VBA knowledge a plus. - Candidates with minimal experience are welcome to apply. - Minimal 6 months full-time internship commitment, preferably with early May 2026 start dates.
