BINNIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is hiring for a Resident Engineer (Civil) internship — a 12-month, on-site Design role based in Singapore. It is an unpaid internship. It is open to university students, typically in Year 2–4. Applicants with experience in Report Writing, Water, Construction, Information Management, and Water Treatment are a strong fit.
About this role
Responsibilities: • Lead the site supervision team on all the Civil and Structural and Building Construction works. • Assist on all Civil & Structural site inspection issues, contract related matters and support the identification of defects and supervise rectification works. • Address and respond to all Contractor’s RFI’s and technical submittals. Other work scopes include but not limited to assess method statements/instrumentation reading, coordinate with other discipline engineers and liaise with design team/QP from HQ. • Attend all site/project related meetings, discussions with clients and/or Contractors and to lead in technical and work progress discussions. Qualifications: • Good graduate Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore. • Minimum 5 years of construction experience in supervising civil and structural works. • A person with good communication and leadership skills.
