Employment Type: Contract (Approx. 5 months) - End Aug 2026 - Jan 2027 Location: Tampines Area As a key member of our Site Team, you will participate and deliver our Projects to the best of your abilities. Key Responsibilities • Together with the QP(S), provide overall team direction and management to realise the project objectives and activities as required by the Superintending Officer and consultants, ensuring that the project is delivered to the highest technical and safety standards • To assist QP(S) and/or QP(Geo) in reviewing the construction proposals and implement supervision oversight of these construction works carried out by the Contractors • To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works in accordance with the Project specifications, construction drawings, and Building Control Act and Regulations • To assist QP(S) in the management and control of a team of site staff or Resident Technical Officer(s) • To assist QP(S) in administrative control on the site staff, instill and maintain discipline, and punctuality, keep daily records of staff attendance, and other matters concerning the site staff administrative matters. • To oversee all aspects relating to the construction of the project, keeping and submitting records. • To provide full support and assistance, as and when directed by the client or QP(S) • Lead the RTOs to check all drawings (including shopdrawings, construction drawings) and specifications for discrepancies • Overview of the quality system implementation, materials approval and compliance testing procedures • Supervise all works including all civil and architectural works, plumbing, sanitary, drainage, sewer system, etc • Supervision for new erection of buildings work • Supervision for extensive addition & alteration works to existing structures • To ensure that the Contractor’s working procedure complies with the agreed method statement and relevant workplace safety and health regulations and to direct modification to the procedure, if necessary, to comply with the agreed method and safety and health regulations Requirements • Familiar with extensive A/A works to existing operational building • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution, with minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Civil Engineer, including minimum 3 years of relevant experience handling and supervising civil/structural and geotechnical works. • At least 5 years' working experience as a Resident Engineer • Fully conversant with Building Control Act and Regulations. Able to systematically maintain site records, contract documents and meet reporting requirements under Building Control Act. • Experience in civil works, plumbing, sanitary, drainage, sewer system, etc. will be an advantage • Experience in ERSS (deep excavation) work will be an advantage • Experience in reinforced concrete piling work including industrial building works is required • Supervisory experience in architectural works is required • Registered with IES/BCA as Resident Engineer Who are we looking for?
