Orchard Road (The Heeren & *SCAPE) Hourly Pay + Sales Commission (upon achieving sales targets) ⏰ Flexible Shifts Available The Curated Collective is looking for outgoing, energetic, and commercially-minded individuals to join our team as Retail Sales & Brand Development Associates. This is not a passive retail role. We’re looking for people who enjoy engaging customers, building relationships, driving sales, and contributing to the growth of both our stores and the indie brands we represent. As a multi-brand lifestyle retail concept, our team members play an active role in sales, brand storytelling, community building, and business development. What You’ll DoRetail Sales & Customer Engagement • Proactively approach and engage customers • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products • Share the stories behind our indie brands and makers • Demonstrate products and answer customer questions • Convert browsing customers into sales through active selling • Achieve individual and store sales targets • Process sales transactions and handle customer enquiries Store Operations • Maintain attractive product displays and merchandising • Keep the store neat, organised, and well-stocked • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment • Support store events, promotions, and activations Brand Development & Outreach • Identify and reach out to potential brands that may be a good fit for our stores • Support onboarding and relationship management with brands • Assist with partnership, workshop, and community initiatives • Help grow The Curated Collective’s network of makers, creators, and lifestyle brands We’re Looking For Someone Who• Sales-focused: Experience meeting sales targets or earning commissions • Enjoys talking to people and building relationships • Is confident, friendly, and comfortable approaching customers • Has strong communication and sales skills • Is proactive and able to take initiative without being closely supervised • Has a positive attitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment • Can work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts when required Bonus If You Have✨ Experience in business development, outreach, or partnerships ✨ Interest in lifestyle products, perfumes, crystals, accessories, fashion, stationery, or handmade brands What You’ll Gain• Hands-on experience in retail sales, marketing and business development • Exposure to a wide range of indie and emerging brands • Opportunities to participate in events, workshops, and community-building initiatives • Direct experience working with brand founders and entrepreneurs • A dynamic and creative work environment unlike traditional retail Compensation Hourly Base Pay Additional Sales Commission upon achieving sales targets Opportunities for increased responsibilities and advancement for high performers If you’re someone who enjoys meeting new people, closing sales, building relationships, and helping exciting brands grow, we’d love to hear from you.
