About this role
This position support both online sales and marketing activities, including customer engagement, product promotion, and basic business coordination. The attachment is designed to develop core competencies in sales execution, marketing strategy, and customer relationship management within a retail/FMCG environment. Specific Responsibilities 1. Support the planning and execution of sales and marketing campaigns to promote honey products across retail, online, and direct sales channels. 2. Assist in creating and scheduling marketing content for social media platforms (e.g. product highlights, promotions, educational posts on honey benefits). 3. Handle customer enquiries via phone, messaging platforms, and social media, and provide accurate product information to support sales conversion. 4. Support day-to-day sales activities, including processing orders, following up with customers, and ensuring timely fulfilment coordination. 5. Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential customers, retail partners, and distribution channels to expand market presence. 6. Maintain and update customer databases, leads, and sales records for tracking and reporting purposes. 7. Support basic market research by gathering feedback on customer preferences, competitor activities, and pricing trends. 8. Assist in preparing simple sales and marketing reports for management review (e.g. daily/weekly sales performance summaries). 9. Coordinate with internal teams for inventory updates, packaging readiness, and delivery arrangements. 10. Participate in promotional activities such as roadshows, tastings, pop-up booths, or events when required. 11. Ensure consistent brand messaging and support efforts to strengthen product positioning in the natural health food market. Technical Skills and Competencies 1. Ability to apply basic selling techniques, product pitching, and persuasive communication to convert enquiries into sales. 2. Understanding of honey types, product benefits, usage, storage, and differentiation to support customer education and marketing. 3. Ability to assist in social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), including content posting, captions, and basic engagement management. 4. Skills in maintaining customer databases, tracking leads, and following up on enquiries and repeat purchases. 5. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, partners, and internal teams both verbally and in writing. 6. Ability to update simple sales records, track performance data, and assist in preparing basic reports for management review. 7. Ability to gather basic information on competitors, pricing, customer preferences, and market trends. 8. Ability to support order handling, inventory coordination, and delivery arrangements with internal or logistics teams. 9. Understanding of how to maintain consistent brand messaging and support promotional strategies. 10.
